Commisions
A guide to buying David’s artwork and commissioning a painting..
David paints mainly seascapes and landscapes, although not exclusively, using oil paints.
The cost of a commission will depend on the size of painting you are looking for. Just ask and David will be able to give you an idea of the likely cost. Prices also take into consideration the size and the complexity of the work being done.
Framing costs are generally included in the final quotation. However, if the client would like to choose the frame for themselves then this would be agreed at the start of the commission.
David does not usually require payment in advance. An invoice will be sent to the client once the finished work has been completed and approved.
Clients usually pay in one instalment. However, if you would rather spread the cost, don’t be afraid to ask.
David is willing to delivery finished artwork to clients who live locally.
If a client lives further away then a reliable courier will be used.
The cost will again depend on the size of the artwork, and this will be included in the initial estimate.
